The route adds about 1.1 mi to your hike overall. From Tunnel Arch return to the trail head by hiking back the way you came for about 0.5 mi. Once you’re done enjoying Pine Tree Arch head back down the trail and over to Tunnel Arch, another 0.2 mi of hiking.

These trails are rougher than the main trail to Landscape Arch, but are still easy to complete. Re-filling your water is definitely worth the stop regardless of how far you are planning to hike. Before heading out on the trail there is an area to refill water bottles and use the bathrooms. Starting from the trail head at the Devil’s Garden parking area, hike between the fins to Landscape Arch roughly 0.9 miles one way. Once you’ve entered the park, take the main park road north about 18 miles to the Devil’s Garden parking area. Enter Arches National Park, this is a fee area.
