The route adds about 1.1 mi to your hike overall. From Tunnel Arch return to the trail head by hiking back the way you came for about 0.5 mi. Once you’re done enjoying Pine Tree Arch head back down the trail and over to Tunnel Arch, another 0.2 mi of hiking.
If you don’t have time to make it all the way to Landscape Arch these can be shorter options to check out more arches or combine all three for a great adventure!Īt the trail junction, take the route left to Pine Tree Arch for 0.3 miles. These trails are rougher than the main trail to Landscape Arch, but are still easy to complete. Pine Tree and Tunnel Arches can be accessed by side trails about 0.2 miles in from the trail head at Devil’s Garden. There are some small hills so there may be a few areas that will require quite a push, but we have seen people on the trail with them. Depending on the time of year it may be possible to take a jogging type stroller over the trail. It’s easy to get dehydrated when hiking especially in the desert.įrom the trail head enjoy the hard-packed trail to Landscape Arch. Re-filling your water is definitely worth the stop regardless of how far you are planning to hike. Before heading out on the trail there is an area to refill water bottles and use the bathrooms. Starting from the trail head at the Devil’s Garden parking area, hike between the fins to Landscape Arch roughly 0.9 miles one way. Once you’ve entered the park, take the main park road north about 18 miles to the Devil’s Garden parking area. Enter Arches National Park, this is a fee area.
